Rock to Jazz - Episode 1 JB I Got the Feelin'

I am excited to introduce you to video #1 of the Rock to Jazz Series! This series of videos takes grooves and fills from genres outside of jazz (rock, funk, soul, hip-hop) and puts them into a jazz context. This episode we take Clyde Stubblefield's grooves on James Brown's song I Got The Feeling and turn them into uptempo jazz comping phrases. You'll be shocked at how great these work! It's really fun to learn something and be able to utilize it in so many ways.
