For me the 90's will always be THE decade ❤ I love how this lady is put so together yet obviously comfortable. Most importantly, her outfits make sense for her life and the season. No teetering on the cobble stone with crazy pointed heels , no ridiculous tube top under under flimsy see through shirt... She just makes sense!

I can understand the heels on cobblestone, but there is nothing ‘ ridiculous ‘ about tube tops under sheer shirts in the summer. Just sounds slut shamey. Stop sexualising for no reason. Not every woman needs to dress totally covered up lol. The way she’s wearing her jacket over her shoulder just for the vibe is more nonsensical and ridiculous than a girl in a tank top in the summer.

Beautiful sunglasses and blazer in the opening scene. I love the colour of the stone and background, with the beautiful fountain and falling water. I enjoyed the small parts which Janne shares about herself. Hearing about Marseille, matching her socks and loafers, style inspiration from the 90’s and Meg Ryan and Carolyn Bessett-Kennedy. Her polished yet casual, with emphasis on thrifting and second hand, is really nice, as I also love that. I love the genderless approach. Her first outfit, I love the brown shoes, socks, belt and bag. The belt is boxy and neutral which adds a nice dimension. The second outfit is my favourite, with the beautiful, brown leather jacket. I feel this piece stands out for the cut, tone and texture. I love the collar. Matched with muted colours, it really feels comfortable. I love the brown tones with the brown vest and glasses. Janne looks identical to Meg Ryan, with her casual attitude and swept hair. I love the cutout sandals. The third outfit, the cut of the white top is so complimentary. Then she turns, and the back is daring and quite impressive. The long jeans match the form for the whole outfit. The grey blazer with this makes me think of the perfect mix from her inspirations. The end scenes in park Longchamp, with the first clip of the stairs in the background, was framed perfectly. For the fourth outfit, I loved the half moon glasses. The waistcoat added individual character and worked for her. The scene by the columns and moment where she clips up her hair is wonderfully captured. Look five, so perfectly suited for her, the light slip dress with texture, the sharp, shouldered blazer. This matches her frame, stance and persona extremely naturally.

I lived the 80s and 90s and don't want to go back...I did like the fashion at that moment in time especially because I was very young and quite thin (probably size 0, but even now I'm a size 2-4, mostly 4 US size). I like feminine clothes and baggy all the way (both top and bottom) is not my style. I did like for example the black vest and the large grey fabric pants, but for sure not with the baggy blazer. So, there are elements I like but not all together. Or a feminine dress with thick socks and loafers - I'm afraid NO.
