Rock Youth | Heart of Faith: Faith Walks with God

Everyone who follows Jesus as Lord has a story of who they were before they met Him, how He rescued them, and what their life looks like as they walk with Him. You may not have a dramatic story, but you have been steadily walking with Jesus for as long as you can remember. There is no better testimony than one that reflects a faithful journey of seeking Jesus through all circumstances. This week, we read about Enoch, who walked faithfully with God throughout his life. He did not seek the approval of man for reward but had his heart postured to his Creator. His faithfulness brought him favor with the Lord, and he was rewarded greatly for it. Walking steadily with the Lord can be challenging, but there is no greater reward for His followers than the intimate relationship we develop as we pursue Him. This week, we see that it is impossible to please God without faith. We will unpack what it looks like to follow God faithfully and the rewards for those who seek Him wholeheartedly.
