Hey Randy, I’d just like to say thank you for all the guitar lessons over the years, you truly emulate the sound and style of the era. I’m currently listening to “Here are the Blue Star Boys” on vinyl. I walked into a record shop in Las Vegas one day and immediately recognized your face on the sleeve which was on a shelf toward the front of the store and had to buy it. Once again thanks for the great playing.

Thank you, Joe! The Blue Star Boys album is kinda rare nowadays. Many people ask me if I can get'em a copy, but I have only one at home

Came across your videos and site and plan on being a very regular ! Being situated in Vienna we’re somewhat neighbors so finding you was a very pleasant surprise ! Your play brings back memories for me and strikes a true chord (no pun intended) so off we go ... following your lead ! Thank you ... this is fabulous stuff !

That was a super smooth rendition of the song. Very nice. One question. In your opinion which of the European countries are the biggest for Rockabilly music?

Hi randy I’m trying to copy heaps of old rockabilly songs but I’m struggling since there isn’t any tabs or guitar video on how to play the old songs! I don’t know how to copy the same licks and riffs! what’s the process you do to copy the songs if there isn’t a tab or KZbin video on how to play it? Say your listening to a song and really like it and you want to copy how his playing it on guitar but can’t because there isn’t a KZbin video or tab how do you copy the guitar playing just from listening to it? Pls help me

Use your ear. Trial and error until you get the song down note for note. As a guitarist our ears help us a lot!

Hi Randy . That was an interesting comment about not having to be too precise for Rockabilly . Maybe there's hope for me yet! Thanks for the great videos.Keep em coming!

Well, there are some solos that need exact playing I think, but then others really live of some dirty playing so to speak

Hi Randy really enjoy the videos. Hal Harris was my grandfather. He was a rockabilly musician from the Houston Texas area. I was wondering if you've ever heard any of his music? His two biggest songs were "Jitterbop Baby" and "I Don't Know When"

Oh Wow! I love Hal Harris! I did some of the songs he played guitar on like ducktail by Joe Clay. I would love to stay in touch with you. My email is mail@randyrich.de

Hal Harris was great on the George Jones Starday records, too.

A bit of Scotty Moores "Baby let's play House" influence in there.
