Great music but shame about the tattoos (and thats just the girls!). Tattoos were never part of the R'n'R scene in the fifties and barely rated a mention in the eighties revival....its all gone downhill badly since then.

I was a rockabilly in the 70s and we got tattoos , mostly rebel flags , didn't bop to jungle rock , never , rockabilly in 2200, looking cool,

@@billiee835 In the fifties there was no such thing as a "Rockabilly". As an identity it is not authentic. Anyone who had tattoos back then were sailors or jailbirds. R'n'R teens never had them. They were never part of the R'n'R scene back then. They started to appear, like yourself, in the late 70's along with men wearing earrings. I hope you get to see Rockabilly in 2200!!!!

@@cooldaddy2877 I know , your bang on , what I was on about was tattoos ,I was one of the first rockabillies in London, not the world , and these lot look much better than we did , donkey jacket and Steele toe cap boots and Mac Curtis hair cut , out of place to day

@@billiee835 Jeez, I cant remember the last time I saw a Donkey Jacket. It was the archetypal workmans jacket in fifties Britain. Memories!
