Rod Argent is one amazingly brilliant keyboardist! I love his contributions on “She’s Not There”, and throughout “Odessey & Oracle”. For example, what he did with Mellotron on “Care of Cell 44” is one of the most moving (to me) songs, and provides a standard of why that instrument is so powerful. Same with “Hung Up on A Dream”. As for his Hammond works, his solos are always - and still - fantastic...!

Excellent vocal technique. I wish other singers of their generation, like Robert Plant took care of their vocal chords as Colin. Of course he doesn't have the same timber as his younger years, but he changed his original chest singing to a much more controled head/chest mixed singing. That's why he's always able the hit the high notes.

It helped that it was a small outdoor venue and we were able to stand & sometimes dance RIGHT IN FRONT of the stage, only maybe 5-10 feet from the band. p.s. the craziest thing is that we got into the concert for $6 each. Yes, within the last decade, and for The Zombies!

RRHOF is a joke. They formed in the early 60's and have been eligible for many yrs. So glad Rod and Michael lived to see it. btw Jethro Tull, Robin Trower, ELP and Kansas have been ignored by these corporate dickheads who run RRHOF forever. Prog is totally misrepresented IMO. I can see The Zombies, Def Leppard and even Stevie but Janet Jackson and The Cure????

Ron Kennedy Exactly, while some of the members were still alive. Great honor. That said, the RRHOF is pathetic.

@@photonotavailable7936 Those bands are no doubt legit. The RRHOF is too political IMO . They have fan voting but I'm not sure how that works or if it even matters....

always thought this group was one of the tops of the so called British Invasion. They still have the chops..the keyboard player is a monster, which is what we remember from the original 60's Zombies Lot's of keyboard tunes . Excellent sound. The Zombies and /or the Animals were my two fave groups from that time' ;-)
