I imagine that was incredibly weird for him! I really expected to see him picking the lead. While George was the "lead guitar" for the Beatles, it was Paul that did the most difficult solos, including on George's own Taxman.

I love that every one of the Beatles joined and were members of the Carl Perkins official fan club 😂💛 Carl’s son Stan showed a copy of all of their signed membership cards, I thought that was so cool 😎

What a treasure is this!!!!!!! This is the same H of F ceremony that Paul was inducted at!!! This is just after he had lost Linda to cancer. It was so bloody sad. Nobody there expected Paul to perform at all. There were no rehearsals. Hence no guitar. AND how cute is he???? Just gorgeous seeing him move around freely. BUT l hate the H of F for not inducting him yrs earlier so he could have shared it with his amazing wife/partner in life - Linda.
