Rockbourne Trout Fishery, Winter Fly fishing, Underwater Net Cam is back ;-) +New Celestial Fly Line

A great winters day fly fishing. It was a really chilly day...
The water looked chalky but the fish could still be seen 😊 I used my Hardy Aydon 10ft #5 rod. Bungs and lures, And my new Celestial #5 floating line.
First fish on a Andrew Bufton OSG Blue Flash Damsel, 2nd fish on a Andrew Bufton Cormorant fly and 3rd fish on a Andrew Bufton white beaded Pink Buzzer.
A great days fishing was had.

Cracking video as always, Celestial lines are fantastic all round I have both 8# and 5# (float/Int) and they perform superbly. Really need to pick my days better, 30 people when I went and it looks like you have the place almost to yourself 🤷‍♂️😜 It was the same when I went, plenty follows and nips on damsel sized flys, switch to something shorter and hook ups. Look forward to you testing the Int next 👍

The Celestial line seems good, first time out so needs a bit of use, I've given it a lube and look forward to using it next time. It feels good and lands softly, but yer seems good 👍 It was great to Have Rockbourne to myself, don't like crowds 😅 The fish were definitley nipping the tail and missed lots of bites, as soon as I went shorter you could not miss with the fish, shame the water was a little cloudy but with all the stormes and rain it wasn't bad. Can't wait for the next trip 👍

Enjoy watching your videos. Trying out different fisheries Each time . Rockbourne is brilliant Damerham near by is also a great fishery to visit.

Had only my second visit to Dammerham a couple of weeks ago, great place to fish, lots of browns, will be going again. Love Rockbourne and what great solid fish... I'm looking for somewhere a bit differant for my next trip 😉
