Yes that took a very long time, but it was worth the piece of mind not messing around wildly with cams on a the motor risking valves and piston kissing for me.

nice build man, I just fished my top mount BWs366 build on BF. Hope she's everything you wanted! any reason why you didn't use copper spray on your cut-ring as recommended by CES?

Its an OEM style gasket, in my experience that means it goes in dry. Truthfully either way will likely yield no negative results. Additionally no Forum or manufacturer instructions say copper spray.
