my only problem with this game is there seems to be no "decent" players, just the maniacs flying across the map doing unbelievable inconceivable shots or those like at 8:40 just bumbling around kinda clueless...I like to think I'm somewhere between the best and worst of them, more towards the worst but yea, I'd love at least a few matches here and there with actual competition and having some kind of chance to accomplish anything other than just sitting mesmerized by the Rocket League gods!!!

Having some friends of similar skill to play with and against really helps. If you dont have friends of the same skill level, try to help them and train them, mostly just play a bunch with them. Also focus a lot on teamwork. its the difference between a bunch of people chasing a ball and a graceful, winning team.
