I love the for all mankind show. Fun fact NASA was extremely close to buying a couple C-5 Galaxies as shuttle transporters in the 70's but American Airlines just decommissioned some 747's and sold them to NASA on the cheap instead.
@DistracticusPrime9 ай бұрын
I got to see one of those 747s when I worked nearby. I think it was a 747-100, and still had the attachment frame. Everything looks a lot bigger when you're up close in person.
@gamm89394 ай бұрын
Also, the US Air Force would have owned the C-5s, so NASA preferred the 747s.
@apollo46194 ай бұрын
@@gamm8939 NASA actually only preferred the price tag. As far as performance and utility they preferred the C-5 (it could carry most shuttle payloads inside itself when not transporting the shuttle). The Air Force wouldn't have owned them. As the Lockheed was still doing their production run so NASA would have bought them from Lockheed.

This was yet another amazing cinematic to come out by you!; But, i personally like Eyes Turned Skywards more than this one, and generally i think that the "Starting shots" (eg: first minute~ish) could've definitely had improvements.. but it still doesn't take away from the amazing stuff you did towards the end! The earth-to-mars, then mars-to-earth transitions were AWESOME too. So, i'd personally rate it a 9.5/10! Very good work.
