The show is very good, but the 1979 film is a better and easier to watch overall adaptation of the story, and has the added benefit of being dubbed and having a higher quality of animation.

Jokingly the titled should've been punned as "Rocket Train." Though it does beg to wonder how the physics work for this fantasy because with the landing part, you would have to make sure the entire train is straightforward when it lands on the tracks. Otherwise if it's long trail of coaches swayed side by side, it would cause it to go off course and end in a disasters crash landing, That's just my best estimate I could think of because I may have taken physics class in high school, but once you finished it, you end up forgetting everything if you don't dedicate your life to it.
