Well, it's two supers, unmitigated damage because it didn't seem to be a combo, and one of them launched from Xfactor. There's way more egregrious examples on how you can TOD in UMVC, but usually you have to do it without meter and xfactor for it to be worth noting.. at least that's my impression of the game. EDIT: It was also on one of the lowest health characters, so that played in.

To this day, the visuals to this game are fantastic. Looks like a comic book literally coming to life with its heavy shades models. This really was a great sequel to mvc2, I was aware of the problems this game had when it first came out. The vanilla game was not welcomed, like at all, due to its skeletal character selection, and poor company decisions. This was when dlc was becoming a major problem, but, and I could be wrong on this, this was also following the KI season “formula”. Anyway, the main draw for me has always been the visuals.

The thing about the universal air dash roman cancel marvel 3 is that it breaks heavys hulk haggar and to lesser extent nemesis having thier innate damage on top of being able to make their normally unsafe but big hitting moves safe as well as having more health. Then there are characters like strider who have low health good frame data on normals yet really needs x factor for damage which that mod does not provide. It screws the whole balance of the game.

Tagging out is very risky in UMvC3. Raw tags are punishable from anywhere on the screen with a lot of characters and there's no way to make them safe. They also takes a little too long to actually switch, with a raw tag so you can be hit before even getting a chance. There's an EVO top 4 match, between ChrisG and FilipinoChamp that Chris lost entirely because of an accidental raw tag. The only safe way to tag, without getting a hit, is to use a super then DHC into another character's super, which costs 2 bars and meter is really important in this game.

This game should allow you to choose if you enter high or low when you lose a character. It shouldn't be that predicitble where to aim your attacks right after you just downed someone.

I mean you can block on entry, so it's on you if you get hit. Plus in this game you can cover high and low, because you can call an assist to cover low and use a move to cover high, so it doesn't really make much of a difference

After literally seing Dante ToD 2 characters effortlessly. This game has too much damage and sometimes it's barely a team game as much as it is a 1v1 with reserve characters like KoF since you can barely recover HP and it doesn't matter because you will die in one combo anyways. Still is fun to play but anyone with 2 eyes can see it's too.much damage
