Thank you for this. I admittedly purchased this planner after just a quick read and thought that it would be helpful for whipping me into shape. I did feel a bit overwhelmed and decided to find KZbin video walk throughs and got yours. And the way you approached and gave feedback on how it applies to you, say versus someone using for business etc, was very helpfu. Also, the use of the highlighter and do's and don'ts very helpful as I would have done the opposite etc. In a sense, thought this was longer and more detailed ... I appreciated all of the content and the chat about how you have been using with your young one etc. Thanks for putting this together!

I was overwhelmed on how to use this but after seeing your video. I've ordered it. I feel this will really help my chaotic life right now. I got autism and ADHD and daily routines and goals are really hard to achieve without a good plan. I hope I can find the motivation to keep myself committed to use this. I've tried this before with just a notebook but this wasn't possible. Having these pre made forms will definitely help with this!

I’ve been using Rocketbook Fusion for personal/home related things and the Teacher Planner recently for homeschooling. I’m interested in this one also. I didnt think of just damping half the cloth and the other half dry lol. Going to give that a try. I’m also a lefty and I don’t get smudge marks on my pinky. I think it depends how you hold the pen. It took me some getting used to, waiting for the ink to dry which is about 10-15 seconds. It actually helps me slow down a bit and be a little neater. For anyone who is discouraged, maybe getting a Rocketbook Mini Notepad to see how it works for you. That’s what I started with.

Excellent review. Layouts are so personal. I like the idea but I need 12 months in my planner because work looks ahead 6 months at a time. But I use the Rocketbook notebook all the time.

I have fusion and the panda and put the two together I have been homeschooling for 20 years I use it for family events, meal planning, I used the monthly to write all the meals i make and use the daily to write meals and a page for grocery list I never have to worry about leaving my list at home now.

Can I just write on rocketbook and send notes to android "Samsung notes" folders? So I have a question... What are the advantages besides reusing it between this and writing one regular notebook, then taking a picture and saving it to whatever I destinatiin I want, Samsung note, email, overdrive etc, etc.?

Like I use the RocketBook notebook as a stepping stone to Evernote, I use the Planner also also as a stepping stone to my Planner app.

Glad I watched your review before purchasing. It needs to have 12 calendar sheets- not 3-4! Where would we put our appointments that are 6 months out? And often times I need to look back several months in my planner. I have a rocket notebook and love it except the ink stays wet too long, and the highlighter is inconvenient because both need to dry.

I’m pretty sure they didn’t do the 12 months because you digitize those 3 months and then erase the physical pages, then continue with the rest of the quarters. Plus, the ink isn’t meant to stay on the pages for too long, otherwise stuff like ghosting can happen

@@bpsara I agree. I just don’t think I could get used to that. How do you add to your calendar or erase once it’s digital- in the app? Might as well just use iphone calendar or any other digital calendar.

After I scanned it and I want to change something on the file, can I type it in on the scanned page ? That’s my concern cause sometimes my plan change quite often and I’m not sure if I should use this vs putting my daily plan on my calendar

The pages themselves are of course eraseable, and therefore editable. So long as you haven't erased entire page you can just edit and re-scan. Past that, there are numerous PDF editors or fill/sign options you could use, but that would be more tedious.

You can also save as a .jpg and can obviously edit that as well.

I used the highlighter over the pens and it blend in together even if after the pen is dried. Any tips?

Aw man! Now I know not to use highlighters on the page, that sucks hope you find a way around that :(

You could always save as a .jpg, or .pdf and highlight using any of your editor apps after you've saved your page

Not as far as I know. I think at best, it’ll create a text output for you to read and then you can manually input into your digital calendar.
