I honestly really dislike the commentary. So often they just fill time with worthless opinions and so many times they misread plays and make up these stupid overblown personal stories to explain the play we all just saw, when in reality no, Justin didn't just outplay their whole team with that passplay, they had a team bump right after kickoff leaving them defenceless and without a first man challenging or a third man defending. The commentators seem like nice and passionate people, but I'd rather just listen to coms from one of the teams. There would be much more play by play context and potential to glean experience. That being said, they do all know their lingo and RL gameplay and mechanical knowledge, they're good commentators all things considered. I just selfishly want more than they have provided.

@@Benpurple4 Yeah I know exactly what you mean. It's easy for commentators to hype things up and try to create backstories around certain plays/matches just to make it more epic. RL commentators definitely are guilty of this, I mean presumably they're paid to do this to some extent. I would add it also depends who specifically they have commentating as some are a bit more "over the top" than others. But compared to other e-sports I think generally it's not too bad and creates a good level of hype for the tournaments, especially as RL is a very good spectator sport and I'd argue more exciting than a lot of other e-sports.

From watching a lot of CSGO, I agree! Each match takes around 25 minutes in csgo, so when you see a BO3 and a team won and there’s like 30 minutes remaining in the video, you can put the pieces together. Amazing editing!

Are u ok? The meta now only has much more demos. This series still has some of the highest level rl ever. Decision making on point barely any mistakes and extremely precise plays and suffocating speed that still trumps matches we see recently

@@hamzazilani6398 NRG still plays like they did here (maybe a little better) and they got stomped on at worlds. The current game is definitely very different. NRG’s strategy of repeatedly launching shots on net to force a bad save doesn’t work anymore. Their defence strategy of relying on goalline saves without actively challenging the midfield doesn’t work anymore either. Justin is the only player from that team who can still compete and that’s not because Garrett and Squishy got worse, it’s because they couldn’t keep up with how much better the rest got.

They’ve gotten really shaky on defence with constant double commits and they’ve also been really inaccurate with their shots in absolute contrast to this series where they were nailing everything. Bds even with a roster change still played a similar play style against g2 in the final where they won very comfortably . This series still holds up and will continue to for a while

Nrg was playing good but i think their awareness could've been better like obviously im not even matched to their skill level but if u see the previous nrg and current one the awareness is a bit off like when monekymoon came near the goal Garry wasnt ready for it so their awareness couldve been better just in my opinion but anyways bds played insane.

I don't know how you are supposed to stop BDS once they make it past the swiss stage. They are just another beast entirely once they make it to the playoff bracket. It will be interesting to see which teams end up being the biggest threats to BDS at the next LAN, assuming that BDS maintains the same level of form that they showed here. I don't see why not, considering how consistent they've been in RLCS Season X overall. The roster shuffle definitely makes it a bit of a guessing game though lol
