This is the most talented player in the world in the wrong way I don't get how someone be that unlucky on a game, if it happens 10-20 times in 2k hours why not, but it seems that his luck his chasing him everyday xD Of course he's doing some bad decision sometimes like everyone else, but it's way too funny

TheTurvek these things happened to me everyday. It limited me from going up the ranks because I would make 1-4 mistakes and the mistakes would cost goals usually. I just gave up a few months back. I went from Silver 1 to Gold 1 in a YEAR. I spent at least 2 hours a day playing it during that time. I learned how to wave dash, flip reset (not consistent but I could get it every 5 attempts or so), Shadow Defending, quick aerial. Luck really matters in this game so for me it is amazing to see such highly regarded players who have ‘bad luck’.

Some of these are because he's trying too hard to do something flashy. I don't remember the time stamps, but there's one in there where he already has the D beat and he just flicks it into the cross bar for no reason. There's multiple where he's trying to redirect or steal goals when it's not needed either. He's a bit like the "And1 Mix Tape" players in basketball.

@@z_zenith Are you talking in 1s? If you were playing that much in 2s or 3s and can pull those types of mechanics, you should be a lot higher ranked. My guess is that you have really bad positioning/rotations/decision-making. For instance, there's no reason to be attempting a Flip Reset at that level, or even really working on the mechanic. It's probably actually hurting your team when you attempt it because no one at that level expects someone to do that, so they start going up as well and you end up with 2 or 3 players in the air and no one back on defense. If you focus on the mental side of the game, you'll see a big jump in your rankings. SunlessKhan has some good videos on the "Mechanical vs. Mental" bucket approach.

J 7041 J 7041 I agree with you on most of the things you said and thank you for the recommendations, however I actually think that my positioning was quite good at that level. I hope that someone else sees your comment and takes that good advice as I no longer play Rocket League. Also, I was watching SunlessKhan at the time (still am to some extent) and knew these things, but I thought that it would help my ball control in the long run. I can see now that I was incorrect in this way of thinking. At the time of my comment I had just played a few games of Rocket League after a while and I had met some really toxic players who made me rage quit again. As of the last year, I have been trying to get rid of toxicity in my life so I decided that I would prefer to play single player games. I know that you can turn the chat off but I always enjoyed when I would complement others then they would say “Thanks!”, it helped me get a bit of confidence for the moment knowing that I made someone happy, even for a moment.
