Your enthusiasm is infectious. I love your videos. After watching, I am filled with excitement for the future of space travel and have a better appreciation for the past. Your jokes are hilarious and I hope you keep making these videos far into the future. Also, maybe next time you can talk about the basics of staging and how it's done on different rockets.

Please please please please NEVER STOP MAKING VIDEOS!! I LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!! They are AWESOME!!! Most people would never have the guts to wear that in public! You are AWESOME! Please please please keep it up! I have a feeling that this will be a 3/4/5 million sub channel one day!! Keep going! It is obvious that this is something your passionate about! I love your videos!!! Even on days that you feel like giving up(we all feel like giving up now and then) KEEP GOING bro! I believe that this channel will be a huge success, it might not happen today, tomorrow, or even a year from now, but if you keep going you will WIN!! Maybe nasa or roscosmos sees your videos and they ask you to go to the ISS to make videos there to make people excited about space again or something (It seems far fetched but it could happen) 👍😂✌

Everyday Astronaut in 2017: That's the last time people went to space from US soil, but that's going to change soon. Me in 2019: * still waiting* That's why I love watching old videos - comparing our expectations back then, with what actually happened in the years following.
@ChrisBrengel6 жыл бұрын
Great video (as always)! Could you do one on non-U.S. rockets? Particularly ones that have launched (and are planned to launch) people into space? That's pretty-much the Soviets/Russians and China. Is any other country(ies) planning to join the club? ESA? JAXA? India?If not, why not? [I prefer the t-shirt to the space suit]

Aahh the memories. I was visiting there before christmas. After that I have been obsessed with rockets.
this always confuses me - wasnt the space shuttle reuseable (at least the Orbiter and the 2 side boosters)? if so, then what makes the falcon 9's reuseable stage 1 so remarkable? Thanks. I really love ur videos.
@EverydayAstronaut7 жыл бұрын
+Vlum88 funny you mention it! That's one of my upcoming videos. Probably in three videos! Stay tuned 👍 spoiler it has a lot to do with refurbishability vs reusability and that grey area within.

Yup! The space shuttle is the entire system and is a rocket. The orbiter is still a rocket since it has 3 large orbital rocket engines on it, but it’s mostly just called the orbiter 👍

@small_SHOT3 жыл бұрын

@ulyssesgrant43246 жыл бұрын
what's the differences between Saturn v and a Saturn IB?
@Reactordrone6 жыл бұрын
The Saturn 1b is the third stage of a Saturn V with a new first stage attached (making them a 2 stage rocket). They're much smaller than the big Moon rockets and were used for LEO missions where they could place either a LEM or an Apollo CSM into orbit. Used manned on Apollo 7, the Skylab missions and ASTP.

@EverydayAstronaut7 жыл бұрын
+Jonas TheLonlyGuy there's been Vostok, Soyuz from Russia and Shenzhou from China. I will be doing a big massive episode on Soyuz since it's so legendary. Then there's Virgin's Spaceship one and x-15's that have kind of taken people on suborbital flights. For the sake timeliness I just did the simple US vehicles since there's no overlap.

7 crewed spacecrafts ok But Why presenting only the american ones?! I like what you do, but be please maybe a bit less patriotic. I think it's good to spread the Universal idea : Humans exploring the solar system. So presenting each countries milestones is a must I reckon. WHat about Russians, Chineses...? I know about them personally, but for a new space fan it would be great! Anyway, keep doing your fun educational videos! ;)
@EverydayAstronaut7 жыл бұрын
+Samuel Frachebourg I totally agree, the only reason I did the US program was just to show a nice clean and conscience timeline. There's only been three non-US spacecraft and for the sake of simplicity I just wanted to show the four non-over lapping US programs.
