I am not a fan of 5FDP. But I am a fan of mental clarity. And very happy Ivan found it and his other band members. Life’s to short for consistency in drugs and alcohol. Glad to see everything is finally in his grasp. He deserves it.

It’s amazing how life can change when certain aspects are out of the equation. There was a time that the noise from the wind and the birds pissed me off. Every day was a drag and I wanted it to be over. “Sham pain” to me spoke louder then anything. I stopped banging my head and just started praying. It’s a hell of a life no matter the poison from fame to crank, h to alcohol. And it’s one hell of an amazing life after you realize just how awesome and special it can be after the sun finally comes up, and the dark goes away.
@christiancooper4782 жыл бұрын
I have to say it. Ivan moody is one of the coolest effing people, straight up. Always going live on ig connecting with us like a family, responding, updating, giving us news. I wish a lot more artists do that but they wont give themselves the time for it, like who can? Ivan can, thats who. And to me personally, its selfish not to, i mean, you have fans literally all over the world, and the only time you can see them is when they play at concerts and festivals. Like they can give themselves one hour of their life like once a week to connect to their fans, and do the same thing ivan does. Like metallica, they try as a band, stand in front of a phone as a band, and say how appreciative they are towards their fans and what not. Lars will post a reel, but its not the same. Obviously. Much love to 5fdp, stoked to see them and megadeath, i just found out megadeath os coming to maine as well, and i got the biggest boner cuz of it, its the closest thing to metallica that I will see live. Most likely be in the front to second row of the pits. I saw 5fdp live a few years ago, the last band to play. Absolute weener hardening performance and ever since then, seeing them live, i cant go one day without listening to them. Right now my favorite song to listen to is one of their lives on pandora, white knuckles, and their song falling in hate because ivan’s vocals are hard af in that song. Im hoping they perform white knuckles in this show, very much a long shot but falling in hate, as well. Damn, im hard af.

They've just gotten soft with the music. Go listen to the War is the Answer album compared to what they do now. Ivan is a good dude, but FFDP is now a contemporary rock band.
@lukeslayer2 жыл бұрын
@@RyGuy42089 That's the wonderful thing about music dude, it doesn't die. You can listen to War Is The Answer Album until you die and it will still be the amazing album it is and others can listen to different albums they feel the same way about. It's the same band they're just not hate filled kids anymore. Eminem is a perfect example (from a completely different genre of course) "man his older stuff is hard asf, no fks given" etc.... People grow dude same as them. They're still the same band they just grew and adapted to their current situations. You don't have to like their new music but if you appreciate their older stuff then you still appreciate who they are because if it weren't for them that wouldn't exist.
