I want a large security system on our small farm so I can monitor the pastures, barns, coops, fences, etc. etc. from the house or while away from home. Why's the dog barking? Where are the deer moving during hunting season? Very useful tool.

I love my Reolink cameras and the app. I noticed in your video when you were zooming in on the photos that were taken you didn’t have it in high resolution mode. There is a button on the toolbar right below the picture where you can change from low to high to get the full resolution.

You don’t need Wi-Fi to record footage with the cameras. You do need Wi-Fi if you want to view that footage in real time. Without Wi-Fi, you have to access the memory card

No, each one connects to Wi-Fi just like a phone or laptop. If you need your Wi-Fi extended, look at his other video on that. Mesh routers are also a good, but expensive, method to extend range.

I've been using Reolink cameras for many years. They are the best consumer-grade cameras on the market. Reolink sells NVRs (Network Video Recorders) that you can get with wired cameras that work only with the NVR. That's the option I went with. It supports up to 16 cameras, and came with 8. I can also add wired or wireless Reolink IP cameras and have the NVR record their video. There are lots of options available. You can record only when motion is detected, or record 24/7, etc. Take care and God Bless.
