Dave this kind of video is just wonderful. I love hearing about the find of the claim, seeing the hard work, seeing the hammer hit the rock and revealing the surprise inside. Your commentary is spot on asking questions that cross my mind that give me more respect of the whole entire process. I hope you do more like this and often.

Do you happen to have a small piece of orange with that electric blue from this trip? My Great Granddaughter (age 6 yrs. old) would adore it. Something in the 1x1 inch range‽ Please let me know. TY

And talk to the other rock nuts with so much respect for what they do but also there’s like a wonder in your voice when you ask em stuff. It’s just rad. I seriously would love hangin out with you boys talkin rocks. I’m still watchin so I’ll finish up commenting after but duuuuuuude, oceans are rad, I just hate the divide they create dammit!

Holy cow Dave! That material just speaks for itself! It us just so beautiful. I loved the barrel cactus material on sight, and to hear that they have 2 more claims up there, with similar material but each has its own special thing about it, that distinguishes it, from the other. That is some seriously gorgeous material! And that 3rd site that isnt to be opened up til next year, i think he said, has the ultimate pieces in it! That drop dead gorgeous tube agate that has distinct fortifications around it! That is going to be the ultimate claim! The colors in the Janna's rocks is so beautiful! that purple/red with the blues, and golds, and whites and pinks in it. And the tiny vugs in it that are filled with crystals, and amethyst! thats truly amazing! Im so amazed at the fact that this sweet couple are mining and selling this gorgeous rock, all by themselves! That is a s*** ton of work! Just seeing all the rock that he carried in his back pack alone, blew my mind! and a bag, and a bag full, of tools, and water and rocks! It was at least 150lbs you said! I know how fast the barrel cactus stuff sold after your first video! I wish them all the best in the world! Thank you for taking us along and see this beautiful material 1st hand. These are extremely beautiful moss agates! Every bit as beautiful as the Graveyard Point plumes! Awesome video!

Nice video, guys! And nice to hear you touching on the geology a little. Good work all the way around! And yeah, most geologists usually just consider agate and onyx to be "overburden" 😄

That was a really fine little piece he gave you, you can slice it like a salami and get maybe 10-12 ready for a silver setting. I hope to get knee replacement surgery done and hit the trails here in Oregon , and illustrate my road trip with sketches and some prose for my daughter, Aly, who is a cool hard-working farm hand outside Eugene. Dig your show! pun intended
