@@YamatoFukkatsu Well. The original song is indeed the slow version, it was featured on the Japanese commercials of Mega Man X3. But later, in the game the song was sped up a little to match the opening FMV of the CD based versions of Mega Man X3.

Actually the Playstation 1 version of mega man x3 were only released in Japan and Europe.

@@hoss3655 Maybe initially, but didn't they include the PS1 version on the Mega Man X Collection released for PS2 and GameCube? Anyway, I don't think the English version's music is too bad on its own (the PS2 games are when the English intros really start to get bad IMO, even going so far as to shorten the length and make it seem like explody action is all that the audience cares about). Though it is sadly indicative of an era where pretty much all game developers were scared to death about featuring Japanese lyrics internationally (Mega Man X6 seems to be a rare exception, and only because it was a rush localization released at the very end of a system's lifespan).

@@YamatoFukkatsu oh yeah I forgot about the collections. Also yeah I wish us Americans got what Japan and Europe got. About X6, yeah it was rushed. Funny thing is that game wasn't supposed to happen. X6 is a train wreck of a game.

Why PS1 Port Version Looks Better Than Sega Saturn? I Think The Video Framerates on Sega Saturn Looks Faster, But PS1 Isn't. Also Sega Saturn Port Version Adds with Frame Bar Screen, But PS1 Isn't.
