They're so experimental and they're not afraid with their identity and not keep in their comfort zone, me as reveluv really appreciated that and i think there are nothing wrong with their music. Yeahh, not all people can appreciated their music especially when people only focus and only listened their title track, try to listen their b-side so you will know more about them. Ikr! Because people don't know quality when they see it lol But we can't blame them if they don't stan RV. SM barely pushes them to be the top GG anyway. We never got consistent dance practices, something very basic for GGs tbh. Lighstick, official color and fandom name came out a little later than usual and we practically have to beg for it for years lol Not to mention avenues where Red Velvet can showcase their skills and talents even more. Seulgi is literally a dancing machine but she seldom gets solo dance performances!!! Smh 🤦‍♀️ But I'm still thankful for SM's decision to let Red Velvet try different concepts and genres of music because it's the thing that sets them apart from other GGs. I was never into girl groups in the first place because I was a massive BG stan but RV has managed to convert me into a diehard fangirl 😂 SM is known to be pushing boundaries of music anyway so I don't think non-fans who aren't used to hearing different genres of music would like RV. Primarily because the general public always like catchy, trendy songs. SM and Red Velvet just doesn't roll like that lmao What's more important to them is how true they are to their music, concept and to their fans. Explains why RV consists mainly of fangirls, and so many rookie groups look up to them because they are the epitome of what a well rounded girl group should be 😁

They are Trendsetters, they don't usually follow the trending norm music just to be recognized instead they make people follow their own style of music. But they're not trendy in terms of views in MVs, every time they drop music video, it is struggling to gain number of views (though they came from a big company), unlike other groups who became talk of the town when they drop MVs, gaining hundreds of views without struggles, instead of appreciation, they were always criticize for their style in music. (trendy concept of GG, Badass or Cutesy/ innocent) I hope RV would get more recognition in music because it's what they deserved and not recognized them just because they have pretty faces.
