Rockna Wavedream Signature Dac - Review

Just a follow up. I’ve had the dac now for about a month and I can’t say enough about it. Everything about the sound is better. I was not expecting this level of improvement. I’ve added new equipment the last year or so and each brought an improvement. The Rockna was by far the greatest improvement to my system. When I started the new system, I had the sound I wanted to achieve in my head. I was not able to achieve it until the Rockna was added. Thanks again for the review.

If you don’t mind answering my questions. What were you looking for to achieve in sound, what was the additional improvement you got?

Thanks for the enthusiastic review. I’ve ordered the Wavedream Edition xlr and am very excited. Coming from a tube dac, modified by ModWright Cambridge cxn v2 and Topping d90, I’m not sure what to expect. The reviews are all fantastic so I think I’m in for a big surprise.

I did and reviewed it below. It’s fantastic. I have an Aric Audio Custom 300b pset and Super 6sn7 Linestage preamp. The combination is wonderful. The amp and preamp is neutral and the tube rolling really opens up different options. @@HeadMania
