I was working security at this GNR show in Saskatoon. That night was something else. As the band tore through the set, two almost naked girls strutted onto the stage, pizza boxes in hand. The entire security team was caught off guard with that one. Axl's puzzled expression mirrored ours as these girls casually handed out slices to Slash and the rest of the crew. The crowd went wild, unsure if it was part of the show or just a fan-driven stunt. Behind the scenes, we were in a bit of a dilemma - do we step in or let the party unfold? In the end, we decided to let it ride. The surprise on our faces matched Axl's as we watched the stage turn into a fest. It's those unscripted moments that make live shows unforgettable, man.

Bands don't do that, I've seen lots of concerts, I don't recall any headliner playing a set that's over 2 hours long. They look awesome to me here. It's just hit, after hit, after hit, after hit. There is absolutely no filler. It is unbelievable what an amazing rock n' roll band they were. It's such a shame we didn't get 5 more albums with songs of this quality on them.
