Slightly confused. At no time did I see you hit the red 8 with your finger, but the game still counted it.

Cause i feel better touching the yellow 3. is the same note, so rocksmith count it.

ThePeterpunk That C isn't played as a long note, so you have lots of time to move your hand. I think that position was chosen since your hand's already in that area and the rest of the loop is played on the E string

Touching Bass Best feature of rocksmith -- all positions are optional. Only the notes are mandatory.
