I so wish there would have been more videos of this car being built.

It's hard for me to believe that you didn't grow up around this stuff! It's not hard for me to believe, however, that you're an artistic person! I could see a car that you built 500 yards away and know it's one of yours! What's further puzzling is, there's nothing particularly complicated about how you lay things out, actually quite the opposite, but the thought you put into things, combined with the next level skillset that you've cultivated, results in eyeball pleasing shit (scientific terms)!! Impressive stuff, brother!!

Didn't really get into cars myself good until late teens early twenties. Dad had a few average hotrods but no serious wrench turning myself till later. Atvs and hunting was all the early years.

When can we expect to see this at some drag and drives? Also maybe a support off the cage to the center of that carbon roof so the roof can be glued and supported in the middle too. It might flex and vibrate in the middle during the drive portions. Maybe not, but maybe worth considering. Bad ass car excellent work and attention to detail as always. Hope to see it doing its thing this year.

You could use limiting straps in the doors like jeeps that take their doors off. Beautiful car very clean work.

Put limiter straps on the doors to stop them from breaking over time...that problem would be solved lol and no extra weight added with a simple light weight strap..lol

Awesome work! I really like the Chute/Hitch mount. Been trying to come up with something that makes sense for a Drag n Drive car. This looks great!
@Headsup955011 ай бұрын
That's the way about 95% of drag n drive cars are setup and have been for a decade from slow to fast cars, BUT... They say valvetrain is the most common failure for drag n drive cars. If that's true, broken/underbuilt hitch setups is a close second!! I have seen more cars than I could count at this point, that were cruising along and noticed that their trailer was passing them!!
@Squintz4511 ай бұрын
@@Headsup9550 My initial thought was to leave the chute on the car for the drive and have a removable hitch for racing. Have you seen issues with swapping the chute mount out for the hitch when changing modes?

Absolutely looks amazing! How'd he do his a/c? I'm running Griffin 1.25"tube rad., 16&9" pullers on Mighty Mouse shroud that's tight... not sure if I have no choice but to ditch the hood latch our what..? Hopefully soon I'll be able to do your front end on mine, 1st it has to run and see how well it does as a daily for a minute. It's a 99 Camaro SS, 408 w/91/102.

Hey Stephen, I'm doing a 99 Camaro SS, 408" 11.5:1 motor, FIS 91/102 T4 flange... i went through a lot to keep my a/c, lost hood latch, and figured I have the room now to do a T6 mount, and hopefully that T6 housing isn't much bigger! I was going to do 4" stainless exhaust to the K, then oval pipe back to a muffler...but now it goes to a 5" with this new turbine. What would you recommend that i do for the best, least obnoxious sound? This will be regularly driven on the street. Any input appreciated! I thought i was set, till last week!lol Thank you brother!

Is the M1 tank anodized? Have you seen issues with them, not, anodized?
@rocksolidmotorsports729710 ай бұрын
Its not. We've had anodized, Teflon coated, and left raw. One customer I spoke to recently had his for four years no coating. Still fine.

@@rocksolidmotorsports7297 OK. Thanks. I just remember a Fueltech video, where a cars filter was plugged up from the tank breaking down from alcohol. I think Turbo John had that issue, too. Then wanted to go plastic, bought one, then went back to AL, I don't remember why. Hmmm, idk.
