I mean metalcore has pop influences. Often the entire song structure resembles that of a pop song. That's why metalcore tends to be more catchy than traditional metal. They essentially mastered catchy with a message.

@@chrisortiz8077 I think you mean nu metal. Metalcore is a fusion of punk and metal. Nu metal blends heavy metal with basically everything, with it varying band-to-band. Pop, death metal, thrash, hardcore, industrial, alternative, punk, gothic, electronic, hip-hop... it goes on.

A good, meaningful song can mean more to someone than anything. Thanks for the great songs Ice Nine Kills. Awesome insight.
