Rockstar Did A GREAT Job With This! (Known/Unknown Races Review) | GTA Online

On Thursday, Rockstar released 7 new transform races by the name of Known Unknown and Unknown Unknown races and I honestly loving it. In this video I share my thoughts.

Great video. I've a background in voice acting and gotta say I hope the acting in the new GTA is as good as it was in the past. The third game had some amazing cast, really captured the vibes of the Sopranos or Goodfellas. Not to mention the late Ray Liotta or the rapper who voiced CJ: they basically stole the show PS. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

The vehicle changes are too frequent. There is no fun in getting a super good/bad vehicle when you change in 10 seconds and there are speed boosts to nullify them. Some checkpoints only allow you to use a vehicle for one turn and thats it

You guys know 5m is inspired off of Call of Duty’s gun game. It’s the same exact concept. (It’s not like it’s a new idea either as people have been doing random laps of the Nurburgring on Gran Turismo and Assetto Corsa)

Known races should generate different sets of vehicles every time because now it's the same 5 vehicles every time.

I was really surprised how well R* implemented them. I just wish there were more and also a bit more interesting tracks cuz right now there are only 3 tracks that I think are fun and good enough and the rest is kinda meh. The random all races (unknown unknown) are definitely my favorite cuz the luck aspect plays a bigger role in those which leads to more chaos and makes them a lot more interesting. I also really like that you can get either a car or plane depending on your luck cuz that adds a unique dynamic to the races. Random select (known unknown) can also be a lot fun, but that depends on the overall car selection. I just really wish there were more races with different car selections. I also hope the community will be able to make their own random races in the future, might be added in the summer dlc idk

I agree that these races are really fun and some of the best stuff they've added racing wise. The drift races also are pretty good. And as you said, they cant just copy over the random all races from PH, because they always have to make the content with the entire community in mind and make it pleasing to "randoms", not only to racing fans.

The ideas cool don’t get me wrong and anything taken from 5M I consider a win but why not come up with some better tools for the community to make or they make midnight club style races and update the classes. Elegy Retro(R32) should be a tuner

Me and my friend had so much fun last night. She have just restarted a new character and I was convincing her that she will have a great time playing this with other randoms and YES. She did whip my racing ass (I am a legit level 1600 and a decent racer) and I did not won any race at all. It was full lobbys and crazy as e you can imagine but we laughed and had a fun time. She won 4 times last night and was blown away by the 100K RP she got each time. I was in the mid pack ( like Broughy LUL) but I was laughing hard at the random god's that finally hit me on PS4. GG Rockstar! GG!!!

Its really fun. The only issue i have with it, is the race tracks. Too many straight lines, and the random checkpoints are way too much. There should be only one random checkpoint right in the start-finish, so you're forced to do a full lap with what you got. Hope the creator gets these, because we all know Rockstar isn't the best at designing race tracks lol

The bare minimum is just keeping the servers online while working on gta6. Any updates to gtao in this upcoming last year or two is extra content they didn’t have to make. If it’s good as well, it should be praised.

It’s just appreciating and enjoying the content during the GTA 6 hype, we all know game companies suck. The workers, designers and developers make the content, not the rich leaders and shareholders of Rockstar
