Axl has a point. Orgasm IS the absolute most open, real, true and vulnerable experience a human can have with another human. In that, it's beautiful. The o-faces can go either way and usually look crazy but the act itself is everything. Axl knew what the best aspect regarding orgasm IS and I'm not sure why the person video taping him speaking truth treated it like he said something horrific. It's a gorgeous intimate power knowing you were able to make/help the person you're with feel the most amazing experience on Earth.

With the exception of Rush, I'm pretty sure most rock bands back in the day were like this. I remember going to a Journey/Styx/REO Speedwagon concert once with my husband and another couple. The guys went to get us some beers, and while we were waiting (sitting 7 rows from center stage) some stage hand guy walks over and offers us 2 backstage passes. We declined. When our husbands returned we told them about it. They asked why we didn't accept, we could have gotten backstage to meet the bands. I said "they only offered 2 passes, and I'm sure they didn't want you guys backstage!" We still chuckle about that to this day.
@missolesoul11 ай бұрын
I think you are right. I believe AIDS had a huge impact later on too. People were more concerned and it became a drag to talk about with a new partner. In those days, people didn't automatically use condoms, so at first men and women had their feelings hurt by partners asking for them to use one, like it meant they thought the person was dirty. People had to be shown how to put on and use condoms. The only experience I had with anything like this was I went to see Eddie Murphy, and he likes to have the cameras pointing at the audience so he gets a feel for who is in the crowd. Well, I took full advantage of that, hammed it up, and mouthed that I wanted two backstage passes. Lo and behold, a man came out and gave me and my friend passes and invitations to the after party. This girl I knew begged for a pass for her, and she was blatant about willing to do anything to meet Eddie Murphy. She was sloppy drunk. I should have known something was up when she got a different color pass than I did. Well, at the afterparty there were wall to wall beautiful women in leather dresses, his family, etc. One of his guards sat down next to me, started talking a bit, then said if I was willing to "fool around a little", I would meet and hang out with Eddie Murphy. OK EWWWWWW?? I couldn't believe it. That other woman went with someone else in the entourage but never got to meet him lol. She actually made us really nervous. She was so blatant about doing anything to meet him. I wonder if he actually got any, ever. Gross.

And Nirvana don't do those kind of things, they really do respect girls and woman not only because they wore girls outfit while performing, they don't do sexual jokes or disrespect girls with or without camera. I feel bad for you cuz you didn't understand the logic or my point.
@diseasedc3 жыл бұрын
Hey you got it wrong. Womanizers aren't automatically disrespectful to women just by being womanizers, they just get a lot of women that want sex as well as them, consented sex. Tho I got to admit, the video where a dude touches the interviewers breast made me uncomfortable, that's just being uneducated and egocentric thinking that you got all women on the palm of your hand. And a lot of respect to Nirvana, that was a fresh air to the rock industry, where many glam rock bands would sing about women being objects.

Sometimes I wish I had been older in the 80s so I could have really experienced this era, but being born in 83 I only knew about it second hand from having older brothers and MTV. By the time I was even 9 or so this type of rock music was dead and the grunge era and gangsta rap was everywhere. I definitely had a crush on Axl Rose though just like nearly every girl did and one on Lars Ulrich. I don't care what anyone says Lars was adorable. 6:00 :)

@@nas2817 We can't possibly know if she "digs it" or if she just doesn't want to cause a commotion. Jon was the biggest rock star on the planet, it wouldn't serve her well to embarrass him. This WAY pre-MeToo. That's why you see so many women coming forward NOW about things that happened decades ago. In the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s... who would listen to you if it was all perfectly acceptable? The answer is no one. And then you'd never get another job after complaining.

@@miadavis I don't care how much she loved him. It was still way over the line what he did. And there's no way you can say for sure that it was part of the show, unless you worked on the show. This was straight up inappropriate, whether she liked him or not.
