Each lineup change the music has gotten worse and worse. I feel bad for this band as they were the most exciting band when they first came out.

isok and avenido really gave wilabaliw that distinct metal sound that distinguished them from the rest of the pack.. new drummer of course is a hell of a musician but imho does not fit to the style e.g. am not looking forward to listening to them live playing their old songs. hopefully their new songs will be good

Robert Dela Cruz was the original drummer but yeah I agree. He is a really good drummer, just not a good fit for Wilabaliw. Especially when Jesso Montejo already found the right formula, groove and intensity.

I believe Robert is a great drummer, but a power drummer. He frequently drums more than what is needed, in my observation. Montejo is technical. Sometimes, less is better and Montejo fits the style of math rock/prog metal that Wilabaliw wants to incorporate. Pure groove. I also don't look forward Robert playing the old songs of Wilabaliw, especially in Aurum, but I am hoping he and the band produces great songs that fit his style.

Love robert pero if papanoorin niyo documentary ng unang birth ng wila. It was different they were their for the craft and music. Sayang wala si isok napaka underrated.

I think this band they're not thinking about money or salary. They thinking their long friends and patience each other until they retired. If i compared to Slapshock im not sure what happen because of something. But i miss them. I hope they're going to have reunion and find some new vocalist. If Ian help Slapshock to be vocalist it can possibly when it comes art, but it depends on image if it fits Ian for Slapshock.
