I’ll help you I just a little bit. The thing you referred to as a compass is actually a miter guide/guage. And the “ruler thingy is called a fence.

Thank you for this video, because their instructions were a confusing mess...and this is coming from someone who has a kitchen full of ikea cabinets.
@EzPzBro. Жыл бұрын
@Charlotte, You're welcome. I'm always happy to help. I do the Ikea thing to, and I've noticed that sometimes even they make mistakes in their drawing instructions, so I have to adjust and modify the way I put everything together so it actually works.

Ruler type thing is..........called a fence. Common to table type saws, i.e. table saws.

Did vacuum attachment 10:57 come with your Bladerunner? I just bought used one from somebody, I thought my shop vac would fit and found that it didn't so searching around for adapter.
@EzPzBro.7 ай бұрын
@144 Yes, my vacuum attachment came with it. I use my regular vacuum cleaner and it fits and gets the job done. The shop vac may be a little to wide.

You can tilt the miter gauge to cut wood diagonally, but how do you keep the wood from moving around when doing that?
@EzPzBro.2 жыл бұрын
@N.D. You need to hold on to the wood as well as the miter gauge when you cut wood diagonally. Hope that helps.
@n.d.engleson64992 жыл бұрын
@@EzPzBro. Oh I get it. Lay one hand on the wood, slide and press the wood firmly against the gauge, and then push the gauge forward with the other hand?
@EzPzBro.2 жыл бұрын
@@n.d.engleson6499 @N.D. You got it. But I found that it helps to always have a hand on the saw itself as well, because it tends to move forward when you push the gauge. I recommend putting something heavy with a lot of friction behind the entire table saw so that your hands can be free to focus on the cutting itself.
@connorhart7597 Жыл бұрын
@N.D. Engleson don't hang on to the off cut, that can cause it to bind up the blade and fuck up your cut or veer off course, etc. Plus surprises in general like your work moving can be a hazard on their own
