A bit of interesting trivia ,the term Three dog night comes from the eskimos. On a cold night they would bring in one dog for warmth. If it was really cold they would bring in two . If it was really really cold they would bring in three. So next time someone asks you how cold it was you can say it was a three dog night .

It reached #2 {for 3 weeks} on the Canadian RPM Singles chart, the three weeks it was at #2, the #1 record for those three weeks was "Sugar, Sugar" by the Archies... "Easy To Be Hard" was from the 1967 Broadway musical "Hair", and in 1979 Cheryl Barnes' version peaked at #64 on the Top 100... I love this song. It will always be relevant, which is a bit unfortunate. People need to treat each other a lot better than they do sometimes.

I just saw Chuck Negron on The Happy Together tour and he sang this song, Eli's Coming and One. He was awesome. I leaned over and told my brother and sister -in-law. "he's 75" They nearly fell out of their chairs. He looks about 55, if that.
