Larry, Thanks for your comment on the model A series. For some reason the comment did not “stick” with the video, but showed up in my email notifications. I was an Accountant before retirement, my last position was CFO for a small company in western MN. Good luck on your Model A pickup. The previous owner likely tried to upgrade to a better transmission, but you could easily convert it back to original, which would help when you sell it some day.... Model A transmissions are easily found, and not very expensive.
