Campfires with crackling fire sounds have proven to be effective tools in promoting greater peace of mind.
I shot this original & unique campfire video in early January at a favorite location high up in the Rocky Mountains. Twinkling stars were added afterward to enhance the visual experience. This video is being looped because of the complexity to maintain a vibrant campfire with changing light conditions over an extended period of time. Each video I shoot is uniquely created and processed to enhance the relaxation experience.

I live in the mountains and my son has a home with acreage, often we sit outside in winter with a roaring fire, stargazing, seeing the mountains profile against the sky. It’s bloody cold on one side of you and hot on the other but we love it. This is so much like our experience, beautiful work thank you for creating this for when we can’t have this in our lives.

How odd that not only does the snow not melt but even the frost on the edges of the snow chunks doesn't melt throughout the whole video. Snow and fire don't work like that LOL. You've got a cool light effect going across the "snow" though, so how did you set this up? Because obviously the backdrop is fake...is the snow area photoshopped in too or is it a fake snow-like substance put around a fire pit in a studio?

If you were to observe carefully you’d see that it’s a roughly 2:48 minute loop. Also I live in the mountains where we often sit outside with a fire. It’s so cold that the fire doesn’t melt much around it, your face burns but the rest of you is cold.

This is not a real fire. I do really like the process of the wood getting in to embers, the rearrangement of the logs. It somehow feels lifeless. But for background ok i guess.
