Rocky Balboa is a symbol of self-determination, faith, humility and a magnificent comeback victory in his life. This movie have changed the life of millions across the world. And because of that, Sylvester Stallone is a pure genius. Rocky Balboa will be remembered in the future, like we remember Hercules or Achilles. Rocky it's our version of a saga of a mythological heroe. Nothing less, and nothing more epic than that.

So a budget film in the 70's could afford a full orchestra, drummer, and guitarist along with a composer to write it all and this epicness comes. Today, a major movie with tens of millions in budget can't afford a string quartet to sit in and do the music. Not saying every movie needs this treatment, but I'll be damned if the movies Zimmer works on don't feel way more powerful and epic, like Rocky does
