Thanks for doing this interview. My son is planning to go to air force through the college ROTC program. I was at first against it. But I feel a lot better now. 😀

Where many are complaining about censorship? Lol

@@deanliu7125 Nobody denies the existence of censorship in the West but if you were to compare the severity... China is definitely leading in this respect.

FYI my cousin her husband was in a ROTC programs in high school I think it's like a army pre school and I think he gets paid for it too but it's a long commitment for him, after high school he went to UCLA to study as a dentist and after he finishes the school and his degree and joint the army because of his degree and ROTC programs, army give him a rank of lieutenant and they were station in Europe Japan, Hawaii and they used those opportunities to travel the whole Europe countries and Asian countries too he was promoted to major and have enough time to retire but army wants to promote him to a general which means he needs to enroll the war college for the promotion my cousin is little unhappy because it means spend more time away from her parents, but because it's a good thing for him she agreed with him later when he was promoted to the general 👍 she said the benefits are so much better they have their own house on the army base and a driver when they goes out but he also has lot more responsibility too since his field is in the administration side he was responsible for the dental care for the Base and the whole army section too he must did a good job and got promoted to major general 😊 and transfer to Washington DC but he retired pretty soon I don't know what happened and asked my cousin she said he didn't like the politics in DC so he retired but still he has a good retirement benefits and he was able to buy a house in a very expensive area and now he is a consultant for a major Americans company which requires him to travel to different places in his new job all their kids are doing well the best thing are they are closed to both parents and relitives like me. Will My point is if some high school teenagers want to joints the army ROTC is a good place to get their toes wet to test the temperature and my kids high school has that program but he was not interested he put all his efforts into studying classes, since I am Chinese and but I didn't put any pressure on my kids for their school works I just told him if you get a bad grade for the class I am okay with it I just want to see you get a better grade next time because that means they have improved on the subject and that is what I like to see as long as they have improved on it which means they learn something about the class,if they have trouble with it I can guide them to the right path give them advice but I will not help them with their school works and told them if they want to play games or watch TV it's fine with me as long as they finish their homework and they can do it all day or night I will not interfere I laid down the rules and they followed the rules and they can do whatever they want My wife and I will not bug them for school works and I think it works for my family other family will needs to look at their own children and school and determine what is the best for themselves,
