I think the LORD delights in Holy Ghost Pentecostal services!!! They are the cheerleaders in the BODY. Not discounting other churches, I grew up Southern Baptist and I love to hear Charles Stanley as well. But when trials COME, and they DO, I want to know there is POWER to pull me thru the thing and BLESS GOD, and claim the BLOOD over my life, body, soul, and spirit-that Satan has NO authority, and GOD is my deliverer. I am a daughter of the MOST HIGH, and MY GOD has the VICTORY. Sometimes ya just need the assurance that GOD knows where you are and HELP is on the WAY!!! In these difficult times, where evil is abounding, I find comfort in having the proclamation that GOD is on the THRONE, and JESUS overcame this crazy world.

In our youth we bought mt property. It was buying into an area where most were older and on the verge of retirement and gonna live out their days in the mt area. We watched and helped many of those build and get settled into mt life. Then one by one stuff happened, and that life became increasingly difficult for those retired in the community. The closest medical facilities were almost an hr away, and the once easy commute become laborious under the bad traffic. The wildfires in the area were increasing and a huge threat to our area. Chopping wood to sustain through the winters might be ok at 60...but not so great at 70 and at 80 for most almost impossible. Lofts might be a great space saver and cost cutter but try using those when balance wains. Same with navigating basements. Or carrying groceries up and down. Or if an injury happens that requires use of a wheelchair, walker, or cane. Or 4wheeling into the homestead areas. If you have your health, great, but these were robust people and one by one, health issues came about that weren't planned. Bones broke, or aging presented other challenges like night blindness. My point is, have the dreams, but research the possibility of challenges aging out can present. I endured loss and having mt property with a drying aquafer with no chance in my state of digging deeper or another well hampered the reality of keeping it. I couldn't do for myself or by myself in that area. W/O water, it would be an expensive parking lot with a view, nothing else. So I had to sell out. So difficult, but times changed from when it was purchased, and it was gonna get worse. Cutting your losses is sometimes the only choice. I was always invincible until in a freak accident at Thanksgiving I broke my leg (tibia, fibula, ankle) and being alone, it was a wake up call once again on how it all can change by something unplanned for. Beat the odds, or the diagnosis of not walking again, but it changed my outlook on my future...
