He had done the math and has said many times that Roczen’s family have helped him tremendously in his European career. Got a serious question for your next video. Do you think the leader lights effect the focus of the riders when they ride? On TV they look bright, When I ride/race I focus ahead. But I never had LED lights on my forks. I raced a lot under the lights. But I'm curious if seeing just a slight glow would effect your focus? Do the LEDs look bright just for TV? Or are they that bright? Honestly if i was leading a race and my forks lit up green I would feel like a Rockstar. But for the Pros does it distract them?

It just baffles me that for 16 of the 22 races pretty much chase hounded jett in outdoors and then Kenny gives him a little pressure between 2-4 secs back and he lets him by and people say it cause he can’t handle the pressure and he was going to pass him? Come on, all jett was doing was making sure ken got second overall and chase didn’t so the points gap is closer going into this weekend. It’s now 2 instead of 6. But jett being jett didn’t realise Kenny was going to get second anyways, but be letting him beat him he was guaranteed second.

I don't believe it was an ego thing at all. Come on, Jett absolutely dominated outdoor, and even dominated with Chase right on his ass several times. He has already had the pressure of Chase, the pressure of Kenny was no different. Kenny was able to get within 1.5sec of Jett, but would he have been able to pass him in the little time that was left? .. I am doubting it. He didn't pull away from Jett the rest of the race. Kenny is riding extraordinarily well, which is great, but I still don't believe he would have beat Jett straight up.

@@andersnord8255 - Well, I believe this last race answered the question of Jett vs. Kenny. Kenny looked absolutely awesome out there, however, not awesome enough to take on Jett Lawrence. I don't think Kenny could have beat Jett in last race either, had Jett not let him by. Sorry, but Jett is just too good. I am glad to see Kenny riding so well though, that is awesome. Kenny is one of our household favorites, really respect that guy a lot .. he's just a super nice guy too. It was also wonderful to see Jett win it, he's my personal favorite. Danger Boy did a great job winning it as well, however, I can't stand him. I just don't like his attitude, grates on my nerves badly. He's fast though. We'll have to see in the coming years if Danger Boy can keep it together, he gets a bit out of control sometimes. But, he does have riding talent, that is for sure. I just don't like him though, I am a much bigger Jo Shimoda fan, was hoping Jo would win it all. Shimoda is riding awesome but just didn't seem to have it in that last moto.

I agree regarding the whole situation regarding Jett vs Chase. I don’t think Honda would sabotage him, but I also don’t believe for a second they’re going to go as above and beyond for Chase as they will for Jett because it’s simply not in their best interest for Chase to win this whole thing from a purely business standpoint. Chase made some interesting comments during outdoors implying the bike was not up to par. I believe he said something about “it’s supposed to be the same bike as last summer, but it sure doesn’t feel like it.” And then he also said after the final race in outdoors that he “can’t wait for 2024” which is interesting seeing as we still had the SMX. I don’t know, I just get the feeling that the relationship between Chase and Honda hasn’t really ended on great terms and over the course of the next year we may hear some interesting stuff come out. It’s too bad if that is the case.

Single double tripled points is good in this short event cuz it keeps it interesting all the way thru. If it was over after the third or fourth moto and we had already knew who won no one would watch or care about the last race. Its crazy how close it is. The 250 class has three riders that cluld win maybe four but not likely and the 450 class comes foen to the last race for two riders. Drama equals interst equals views and eyes on sport. The MXdN is an annual event, always has been and always should be. If it's not a big deal to people that's on them. Maybe we should be asking why it isn't, not demanding that they change things to fit into some people's wants.

Look at Jett’s lap times, he slowed way down the last two laps, that’s why Ken caught him so quick. He knew what he was gonna no way Jett riding 4 seconds slower than his lap times at 90% was feeling any heat at that pace or even if it needed to be quicker. I think his good intentions cause he looks up to Kenny who just had a baby, ended up looking bad cause of what he said and how it said it on the podium. I don’t think that’s what he was going for but… when it appears you’re like “yeah, I let him win cause he can’t beat me” it appears bad, especially to Ken.

If Jett is losing stamina, it might be time for him to cut back on donuts, ice cream cones and other sweets and carbs like other riders. Roczen is doing well, I believe because he's been shoring up his training program. I never would have thought he could make such a comeback-lightning fast SMX Rd. 2. Frankly, I like JS's commentary. Villapoto should be employed more. He's a bit rough at times, but with more experience, he could make for an interesting and articulate commentator. But what do I know, I'm just another person in the peanut gallery.

Cooksey: You missed another big moment in the 250 moto's. Jo Shimoda and his 'bike problems' and having Hunter go past for the win. I find it odd that no one within the moto media circle ever tries to dig deep and find out if there really was a bike issue and if so, what that issue was. Or, maybe the factory teams do keep it tightly wrapped and don't let anyone know what happened. Either way, I thought it was peculiar that he slowed but then sped back up once Hunter was thru and had enough speed to stay ahead of those behind him. Especially with Jo going to Honda next year AND being former Geico teammates. Or, maybe it's a Nothing Burger.

Im in this since 1989 and never saw something like that. One thing is racing at your 80% but not at any motorsport raising hands and letting someone pass you. He felt the heat and thought look better letting him than passing straight. Johnny O’Mara don’t teach that at all.

Every few years the sports (MX/SX) get an incredibly talented racer that just destroys the competition. There are a ton of racers who have a following that have been at it for years and have a lot of fans, but just don't have that talent, so when a youngster like Jett comes along those fans hate him because he makes it look so easy with so little experience. Jett is todays guy, and you have to live with it.
