I live very close to this church. I have personally witnessed (by attending services here and there over the decades) the evolution of the downward spiral of this movement surrounding Rod and his congregation. I was there when the church was small and manageable(before they built the big one). I saw the annoiting firsthand, initially. The unfortunate part of this is that there is no doubt Rod had, (and still has for that matter) a calling upon him to preach the gospel.There is also no doubt that the Lord has given him wisdom on many things concerning the kingdom of God. Somehow, he was "headed off at the pass" by the prosperity gurus back in the eighties and nineties and that wisdom was subverted and perverted by the so called "faith movement". He DID run well at the start, he did NOT initially "get into Christianity to make coin" He, like so many, got too big too fast. This, unfortunately attracts the "puffers and kingmakers", and, before you know it, the preacher ends up with an untouchable ego and seemingly dwell in unapproachable light.Pray for Rod. Please remember beloved people, that most of these men didn't begin the race this way, and It ought to be our highest passion that they do not finish it this way. It is surely Gods passion that they do not.Let us share in his burden for them.🙏

I've been subject to this before. I left that church. The pastor's wife tried to convince that could sing. I knew that wasn't my gift. I come from a family of singers and I'm the only one in the family that can't sing. It never bothered me. I am good in a number of other things. So, it never bothered me. However, my pastor's wife was convinced that needed to sing. Not happening. Since leaving that church, I done much better without them. It’s funny you should be talking about this man because I work at a local Taco Bell and one of the employees from the Walmart near us came in to eat and asked me where did I go to church? I explained that I am a spiritual person and God has led me in that direction all my life. I am not a religious person. She said oh well you need to watch Rod Parsley on September 15th and said he was part of the church which is about 10 miles from us in South Bend Indiana that was run by Lester Summerall and then later his son which used to be called the world harvest church and now has a different name. The Holy Spirit back then many years ago told me that no matter what sweet words come out of Lester Summerall’s mouth was not from our Lord. I’ve never listened to parsley before, but as soon as she mentioned that I should watch it Holy Spirit said no you do not need to watch it. The Holy Spirit has been my guide in these matters for all of my life, and I will listen to the Holy Spirit before any other human on this earth.

The church is a place where sinners whom are saved by grace come to pray, learn the word of Almighty GOD in Jesus Most Holy Name.. Feed my sheep don't beat my sheep.. Mainly worship Jesus Christ the master don't worship the pastor.... Jesus is Lord....

My parents went to this church for a long time, and it is a NIGHTMARE. Rod Parsley is a joke, and trust me, this girl is just as “lovely” 🙄 in person. She’s rude, arrogant, and thinks the world of herself.
