Rod fan from way back 70s. Lost touch listening to music past 25 yrs or so. Just rediscovering him now via youtube vids that keep popping up. Debbie D., No doubt that Rod Stewart is a great singer! The collaboration with Ron Isley is wonderful. But I disagree that Rod adds to it and makes it better. That song was well done by the Isley Brothers and it is a great oldie of which no other artist(s) has covered that I know of. Could Rod do all that that song requires to do it justice by himself? I don't think so. It just bothers me that original artists hardly get the credit they deserve for their work until someone the majority is in favor of gets in on it, and still much of the credit never goes to whom it belongs. Perhaps I seen some comments at a time when the history of this nation was heavy on my mind?! No offense to anyone.

This is a man that's singing with him now, this man and Robert Stewart, it's the only ones that could sing the song very, very good if it gets to the heart, it gets to the soul, you know that once when you can't really listen to listen, you know what you're. Listening to, and you know what your heart would accept, but what that lady singing my God, best thing to do is take her off and don't ever think period because she does not know how to sing. I've been listening to this man's song Robert sword for a long, long time I am 67 years old and I know exactly what I'm talking about. I've been Going Out with this man for 3 years. This is my Fav Isley bro song! It came out in the mid 60's... I didnt know that the Isleys were with Motown at that time! In the mid,80's Rod Stewart played the Universal Amphetamine in los Angeles,Ca,snd he sang this song....I was working as security for the building at that time...Rod brought Ron on stage to sing this song...
