Beautiful! I just discovered this fable and music for the first time hearing it played on the classical music radio station in Saint Louis as part of their Saturday morning series Classics for Kids. I will pass it on, hoping I’m not the only one who was not familiar with it! What a joy it is to hear and imagine. Thank you John Rutter and Brian Kay for this exquisite rendition.

Lovely fable! Ex-King's Singer, Brian Kay, narrates perfectly while Rutter's musical interludes are tastefully done. Nice one for kids...of all ages!!

THANK YOU for posting this! WRTI (in Philly) plays it every year but it's hit or miss to catch the broadcast. My niece was just asking me about it to play for her Dad. Will direct her here. MERRY CHRISTMAS to All!
