Rode NT1 vs. MXL 990

This is just a spectrum comparison. This shows the true sound of the two microphones, not relying on differences in human hearing. It can be seen that the sound of the two microphones is the same.

I think there is almost no difference in spectrum between the two microphones. However, there is a big difference in price. Many didn’t understand this so they did unlike the video.

@@stoplessproductions well that’s my point, I was looking for a good vocal mic and was torn between these 2, the NT1 is almost 2.5x the price. Good to know the 990 is comparable to the NT1 tbh

Keep in mind that the Rode has a much lower noise floor, while the mxl has a higher one. So with the mxl you may hear some hiss in some recordings
