Has anyone been able to figure out how to adjust the volume of each channel individually? Whether in mono or stereo mode, we press the “1/2” button to toggle between the channels, but when we press the “db” button, it doesn’t adjust the volume- it mutes the selected channel.

Did you also have the export glitch?? A review on KZbin confined when exporting uncompressed saved audio he could only get 7 min, 14 seconds and stops exporting. Whole files saves in transmitter but uncompressed wouldn’t allow more than 7 min, 14 sec of larger file move out to computer. How about you?

I actually didn’t test uncompressed out. Glad to see they are working on a fix it’s really amazing they they built RODE Central for extremely easy updates and complete control over the device!

@@rodemic HI Rode. Will you be adding the ability to start internal recording on the transmitters from a smartphone (via an app)? It would be very inconvenient to have to bring a laptop to every shoot location to use the feature. Thank You.

Is yours still going? Mine died just out of warranty. I think the batteries on these things are not very high quality so I would caution anyone thinking about the Rode Wireless Go 2.

I have a question - when using both Transmitters: Seeing how the Transmitters are actually the ones Recording and that the Receiver is the one 'Merging' the audio (if you set to to 'merged') is it then possible to have a Merged audio in your camera (so ready to go for your quick edit), but still be able to access the files individually from the Transmitters if you set them to Record? (in case you don't like how the 'merged' file turned out in certain areas - I'm also assuming that it's easy to sync them up if this is the case, seeing how it's basically almost identical audio when a person is talking) So long story short: Can you set the Transmitters to Internal Record independent files from 2 speakers WHILE setting your Receiver to Merged Audio for your camera?

Sooooo......how do you adjust the volume for each individual channel? In a two person setup, if lav 1 volume is good, but lav 2 is too low, how do you adjust the volume for lav 2?

To adjust you press the right button and you can toggle between the first and second receiver and change each individual volume level

I have windows 8 64 bit. Rode central will not install unless you have apple or windows 10 32bit or 64bit why? Most likely Rode didn't bother to pay Microsoft's licensing fees for compatibility with all windows versions. Rode emailed me to say that windows 8 64 bit doesn't meet their requirements? In other words officially Rode has "zero intention" to be responsible at accommodating their future potential customers who "dont" have Apple or windows 10. The reason why windows 10 works and not older windows operating systems is not what Rode responded in they're email to me that windows 8 doesn't meet they're requirements instead Microsoft historically offers the first several months of programs as well as operating system licensing fees as free thereafter companies are required to pay their share for the access to Microsofts products. Rode is either to short sighted to provide windows compatibility to all versions for it's potential customers or too cheap to pay Microsoft's licensing fees even though they're making millions of dollars in profit from this new Rode Go II product.
