Oh my it has been too long since I've vidded these two mainly because they really haven't had many scenes together since season 3. They had so many great scenes in the last 3 episodes of season 6 though that I simply had to vid them!
I will miss these two sharing scenes together! :'(

Emma has always been the truly amazing mum from the beginning. Regina was an amazing mum only after S3. Hear me out 1. Regina in S1-S2 tried to own Henry even when she knew Emma & Henry truly love & care about each other. Possessiveness & obsession to own someone isn't love 2. She tried to kill Emma but Henry ended up eating it so that's attempted murder 3. She blackmailed Archie so Henry continued to think he was just an insane kid 4. She raped Graham with Henry in the house 5. She murdered so many & cursed everyone to have a miserable life. Not to mention long list of crimes she had committed. In real life she'd have lost him forever as she'd be locked up for good 6. Gold made the adoption happen so it was probably illegal/voided adoption anyway. Even though she provided a roof, food and basic needs for Henry for the 1st 10 years it really means nothing because she didn't put him first, she constantly lied to him & made him feel unloved/neglected. She didn't do anything to change this because she was selfish until Emma came into his life 1. Let's compare with Emma. She gave him up so he could get his best chances. Such a selfless motherly act. She was 18, alone, in prison with no relative so would've been a better option to give him up 2. Emma could've just dropped him off in Storybrooke & left. But she stayed for his happiness despite the uphill battle with Regina. Because she saw how unhappy Henry was & how he was begging for her to stay so she put him 1st 3. She made Henry felt loved & safe. That's why he chose to live with her & the Charmings after S1. At the same time she never forbid Henry to see Regina. She knew how much Regina meant for Henry too. I'm sure if it was up to her, she'd love for Regina to be as far away from Henry as possible Emma didn't just swoop in to take Henry away. Anyone would've done the same to remove a child from an unfit parent. If anything as his birth mum she had all the rights to take him

Their bond is definitely mother & son. From the moment Henry knocked on her door, there was an instant connection. Throughout the series Henry & Emma's bond is definitely stronger than Henry & Regina's especially the first few seasons where Regina was still evil
