@Nope to the 12th power Picks aren't always on the QB. On the picks that look like the qb threw it right to the defender, the majority of those are on the recievers. Recievers running wrong routes or rounding them off or depth of route, not recognizing to alter their route according to the defense or just a lack of attention in situational football (lack the improvising skills). You can add the lack of blocking into some of those as well. It all works together. Also, as the team gets behind & the game starts getting late, the qb will just put some up & hope the reciever can/will finally make a play. If the qb doesn't put it up, the team loses 100%. So there's a time of either the recievers make a play & the team makes a comeback & win or they don't make a play & the ship sinks. There's a LOT more going on during the play than just dropping back & throwing it to a guy.
