Thanks Once Again Pastor Dr. Rodney Jones For Once Again For An Excellent Teaching Of GOD'S Word. I Would Say It Could Possibly For The Women To See What Happened To The Keepers. But I Think They Might Have Came Shortly After That Took Place. Because The Angel Told The Women Not Be Afraid. I Believe If They Would Have Seen The Keepers Passed Out They Wouldn't Have Stayed Around. That Why The Angels Spoke To Them And To Show And Tell Them That JESUS Had Risen And He's ALIVE!! May When We Appreciate And Remember All The Pain And Suffering JESUS Went Through For Us. So When We Think About Easter Let Us Put Him At The Front He Rose On "Resurrection Day". In reference to “clinging” to Jesus. Could that word have the meaning of physically touching as Thomas touched His hands and saw that He was physically alive. But when He told Mary Magdalene not to cling to Him it was spiritual She was not to hold onto the physical Jesus but by faith, like us…would cling to the Holy Ghost?

Great question, all of it is physical, they literally seized His feet in this lesson, and so did Mary but Jesus told her do not hold Him up because He has to finish His work

Happy Resurrection Sunday Dr. Jones. Is it safe to say that because the women were going to anoint Jesus’ body, that either they couldn’t count to three…thus this was the day He said He would rise….why are you going to anoint Jesus. or…they doubted He would rise?

They didn’t know He would rise, they came to finish His burial according to their custom

I do not think that the women saw the men “laying down dead” because in Mark 16:3-4 The women asking one another who would roll the stone away …they saw that the stone WAS (past tense) rolled away. The next verse states that they went inside the sepulcher and this is when they saw the angel
