True story. Summer of 1992 I was 6 yrs old, about to turn 7. One night I fell asleep on the couch and woke up in the middle of the night. This video was playing on vh1. It must have been a behind the music episode. That was when I fell in love with Rod Stewart. Woke up the next day, asked my mom if he was still alive. Was so relieved he was. She bought me one of his cassettes for my 7th birthday. Best birthday present EVER.
Hahaha , I sent this to my best mates step daughter by mistake . He always asked her to message me as he was to lazy ass and replied with this tune .... First thing next morning ..... Knock Knock he raged what's that all about 😳😞 pure accident . Had just started talking to him aswell 😳 🍀 but broke my heart he thought that . He apologised . I haven't spoke to him even tho he begs ☹️🤯

He didn't need those silly pop songs.

Reckon he thought he needed the money more than the music - he not done bad on that point. But lost his cool when Passion became a hit, and that kind of stuff seemingly tasted better than hard rocking with the boys. I also love these straight rockers, but I would like to add that songs about pain, depression, regret, etc., are not a privilege of current music, just as there are still great riffs written in this millennium. 'Hot legs' was released as a double-A-side single, if you flipped it over, you heard this song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/anrKgHiKoZqkb7s And just one of many more recent songs that comes to mind (ok, 2006, but still this millennium (-: ) kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3ivqKSqhKuSjrs Doesn't change a thing about the fact that you are completely right about this being one great rock song, of course.

I was 16 when this came out, Man so lucky to have grown up music of the 60's, 70's and 80's. The riffs and leads on this song are so Rod and sweet...

Great song. Making that flying V and Telecaster sounding wonderful. Rod with that raw voice that punched through especially with the Jeff Beck Group. Ain't Superticious was a bad ass song. Great riffs by the master Jeff Beck. English blues are outstanding!

This was the childhood jam between us children and our father. He passed away september 2019 and i really miss those days with him. We just blasted this shit at max volume in his car everytime he picked us up to spend the weekend with him. This song will eternaly remember me of my dad and those easy childhood days. :)
