+Randy P spot on.. Rod's longevity is due to versatility and adaptability. His range of music is wide from R&B to soul to blues to rock ..pop..folk and he nails the ballads better than most. And he just doesn't cover any random song but just transforms them to an entirely new song... examples are Reason to Believe, Handbags & Gladrags, Ruby Tuesday and Downtown Train... Cliff Richard did that for a few decades but, Rod's done it better. Also has to do with his public appeal because McCartney did a good new album 2 years back but, it was frowned upon by the public. Bowie's new album couldn't sell beyond true fans... Elton John had 7 week showing on UK chart with his last album.. There must be something regarding his music or marketing that Rod's doing better

Is that the truth. The garbage that these young upcoming adults listen to today is total garbage. We grew up in an era where there was music all around. We could go to Central Park for $2 and sit there for 8 hours listening to the talents of all kinds of phenomenal groups. I even saw James Taylor at sju college I saw the beginnings of Billy Joel at Queens college the opportunities we had to see amazing performers who weren't into for the glory but rather because they loved to sing ❤️❤️❤️

I have seen you in concert several times and you always have your fans dancing , singing along etc. You are amazing and still great looking! My eldest brother looked exactly like you and was even born on the same day, January 10! People use to always come up to him in the 70,'s and 80,s asking him for autographs. He would say he wasn't Rod Stewart though they refused to believe him! He didn't wear his hair like you yet the resemblance was amazing! He has since passed and when I see you , I see him.! Keep rocking , great song! I wish I was able to get an autograph from you but I was never able to, maybe one day.
