Calvin, some tips, just in case you do not know any of these things. One, you can press shift to pick up all the items around you. Second, press L to look at the specialization tree, which makes it so you gain more experience from a certain source, such as mining, fighting or (I believe its crafting). Also, there is an icon at the top of the inventory screen where you can look at the creature index which has a lot of helpful info. Really enjoying your content! Keep it up!

calvin, if you put three sticks in a diagonal line (like sticks in a fishing rod) and 2 iron underneath, you can make an iron saw. then you can get 4 planks per log by putting the saw over the logs in the crafting table (or to the left of it to make sticks) hope this helps!
