R.I.P Mr. Canales your spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives you touched and the legacy you built. As a kid I grew up watching you introduce up and coming Latinos and great music to the community. You will be missed.

Estevan Jordan one of the greatest accordion players of all time. I'm glad to have known him back in the early 1980's. Estevan was just one of the guys, he never put on airs. Thank you Estevan Jordan, I still listen the DVD that i have. Wish I had more. RIP Estevan Jordan

Nice to hear Steve Jordan to talk to Johnny Canales about his life and music. Wow, Johnny Canales had fans from Fairbanks, Alaska to Latin America. Univision you should expand Tejano Conjunto music. Europe loves Conjunto accordion music. Dwayne Verheyden comes from Holland and was influence from Flaco Jimenez. Also, a Japanese Conjunto J used to come to Texas. Also Los Gatos from Osaka Japan, I think Kenji "El Gato" Katsube passed away. San Antonio, San Benito and Austin are now having conjunto festival. Houston where's your conjunto festival? Houston we have a problem!
